14th April (ellie)

Hello!
Sorry that we haven't posted in a while but i have been really busy revising for exams lately as I'm sitting my french GCSE Early and i also have a lot of exams after Easter which are keeping me busy with revision so i don't  have much spare time to help dumpling keep on top of her blog.
also sorry to Honey and Hsin - Yi  i haven't been keeping up with your blog either but I'll check it tonight and leave a comment i need some advice on how to get Dizzys toilet training up to scratch!

Okay a big story for you today!
2 weeks ago on Friday Trinket (one of the nice ginger kitties)came into the house early in the morning after he escape and was outside all night!
His tail was practically missing! so mum rushed him to the vets and the lady said that Trinket had gone to sleep in the hood of a car and when the car turned on the fan thingy went round and mish mashed his tail!!!!!! Ouchies!!!!
Well he had to have his tail cut off and Then he had to stay shut in a room for 2 whole weeks without seeing anyone accept our humans!!
everyone was very sad because they all said trinket had such a lovely long really fluffy tail that was always swishing around.He had to have a cone too, like i did when i had mastitis, mummy says i was much better at using the cone because i could protect my food bowl and scoop up treats but trinket just gets it covered in food and always gets stuck in doors.
One more thing, Ellie is training me up for a show soon, so wish me luck!
Note: dumpling is awful At shows she gets excited when the judge comes close to her or touches her and the most annoying thing is, as soon as you show her a treat she SITS when the only thing you want her to do is STAND so they can judge her!!!!

Thanks for all the lovely comments from honey and Hsin - Yi Sorry i havent posted for a while dizzy is keeping us buzy! even me and Norm are busy training her not to bite and how to be nice to visitors and to come back when top dog blows his special shiney whistle!

Also a big hello to Nan and Chewy glad you like my site! don't wory chew I'll ask mummy if she can knit you a nice wolly jumper so you dont get cold when your chasing a ball along the beach! think yourself lucky i dont get nice tennis balls, just stinky old socks with holes in them!

Dizzy's started going for walks now!!! It's nice to have afew hours to myself during the day although when she gets back she's still got just as much energy as she had before the walk :( Which is really strange for Ellie because she's only ever had labs before and when we get back we have a huge drink of water and then sleep for the rest of the day but Dizzy just never gets tierd!! she's nuts :)

Sunday 20th March

Hello!
sorry i haven't posted for AGES but we've been really, really busy with dizzy she's had her first lot of vaccinations so Ellie and mummy have been walking her round the garden and i've been helping too!

It's lots of fun and we've got tonnes of pictures to show you but unfortunately ellie is having trouble getting the videos to work so i haven't got any of those for you.

Saturday 12th March

Dizzy escaped!!!!
Don't wory she's fine now but she's found a way out trough the fence behind the green house and ran into nextdoors garden!!! and it took lots of running, tripping up, shouting and cheese to get her back!
I was never that naughty when i was a pup :D i chewed mops and slippers, went for wees around the house but i would never run away! Anyway now ellie's really paranoied and we've got to wait for at least a forghtnight till she's all vaccinated and microchipped with a colar and lead and she is desperate to go out now.

Ellie was watching crufts (the gundogs) last night and thought it'd be a good idea to do a little test to see which dogs are most popular, she tought it was silly that the judge didn't choose the beautiful labrador and Clumber spaniel So could you please leave a comment saying which breed you think is best and Ellie will count them up at the end of the week and annonce the winner! thanks,   Dumpling

Friday 11th March

Some bad news today.
 Mummy and Top dog took me to the vets for my scan and it turns out that i will not be a mum after all.
Thanks for the comments Honey Glad you like the blog.
I think it's much brighter and happier than before. Ellie got some nice pictures of Dizz for my blog although she still isn't very good!
At the moment Dizzy's laying on Ellie's lap squeaking and wrigling and barking in her sleep  he he he!
Dizz will be going for her first vacinations next week so she'll finally be able to go out of the house! so Ellie's going to be doing lot's of training on a lead and colar in the garden. She also needs a bath now shes got jam on her back and mud under her armpits! but mummy said she needs to properly settle in first because most doggies find having a bath a bit spooky at first. she's been here 2 weeks now so she should be fine.

Ellie's trying her best to upload some videos but it takes about tree hours and even then sometimes it doesn't work! but you should have some soon. :)

At last!

we found the camera USB so now i can show you some pictures although i  haven't quite got the knack for taking photos that Hsin-Yi has but i think they're pretty good. Isn't she sweet! although i think that's enough dogs now. three will do for me!

us Labradors have a double layer coat for keeping up warm when we're swimming or out in the cold but Dizzy only has one and gets all shivery outside so mummy knitted her a doggy coat from her knitting book so she can go out in the cold.

But only in the garden for now 'cause she hasn't been to the vets for her special injections yet.    aw poor dizzy



Unfortunately i have to go out with her to make sure she's save and the weather here isn't as nice as it is in Australia where Honey lives!



Humph it's not fair she's allowed on the lawn why aren't we!
I promised i wouldn't dig up the flower bed again!



                                         

5th March

hey guys, sorry i haven't posted for ages but we've been pretty busy with Dizzy.
shes very sweet and I've got to say shes not as bad as i thought she was. she always plays with me and cuddles with me but shes still a little nippy. she bites my ankles a bit but shes getting loads better.
Some really exciting news now..
mummy and top dog have decided to take me for a scan next week so we can know for definite if I'm having pups. Mummy's friend from down the road used to breed great Danes and she gave me a bit of a check up but she said that it was hard to tell whether or not i was pregnant because she was checking for the signs of a great Dane not a Labrador. so at the mo it's 50/50 but I'll let you know if there's any news.

P.s Ellie can't find the camera connector thingy at the minute so she can't put any pics on this post but when top dog gets back we'll upload some pics for you

hello!
sorry that i havent posted for a while but we've had a very busy week.
I have some good news but ......     you could also count it as bad news, we got a new puppy!
she is a 7 and  a half weeks old jack russell terrier and very, very small the humans love her but me and Norm are not so keen she always jumps at me, plays with my tail, wees on the carpet,is alowed up on all the sofas and gets lots of yummy cheese which is one of my favourites! I'm also very tierd because she wouldn't stop crying all night last and kept me and norm awake for ages :(
Oh and by the way at the moment her name is dizzy but ellie has asked me to say if you have any suggestions of what to call her then that would be great xxx

monday 21st February

Today the human pup's Granny came for a visit! It was really fun and me and norm got lots of cuddles! :)
it's always great to see Granny 'cause she spoils us doggies ;)
Otherwise today i didn't do very much although i did get lots of yummy snacks from the human pups! and ellie gave me a groom so now my coat is all lovely and shiny :)

Sunday 20th February

Today i had a play with a really nice little jack russell doggie hes very friendly and bouncey and mummy and the human pups looove him!
He got nice yummy bits of pork chop and i didn't!!!

well next time he wont get any 'cause i'm bigger than him so i'll just jump and catch them (im good at that!, mwa ha ha ha)

Saturday 19th February

Hi guys feeling fantastic now, all better!
 I've also managed to loose some weight (i put on quite a bit recently) and am back to my usual gorgeous self!   ; D

Big thanks to Honey and deb tate for my very first comments on my blog! Ellie was so excited when she saw them :) she started squealing and jumping around lots.

Ellie has been reading Honeys blog all the time she's glued to the computer! :) she really loved the post about 7 things Honey and Lemon did together and thought it was very sweet.The two little ginger kitties at our house do the "chirping" thingy too mummy thinks it's really cute. They don't pose for the Flashy camera though as you can probably tell from the photos! Also Ellie was just wondering how Honey gets those really funny little faces in her posts she would really like some of those to jazz up my blog a bit. :)

Been for walkies all week this week    waahooo :)

Didn't do anything much today either although top dog and mummy are talking about walking me on monday YEY!   :)

Friday 11th february

  I had a normal day today just lazed around the house on the nice squashy sofa in the kitchen whilst the human pups were at school.
i havent been able to go for my walkies lately 'cause ive been pawly with this thing called Mastitis, it's a really nasty infection in the mammary glands (teats) and it really hurts. My whole back end including my legs was completely swollen and i had a fever. the vet decided i needed a small operation to get it fixed and after a week i was back to normal. Ive just finished all my yucky pills ive had to take too!  :)
But top dog and mummy still think i should have some time off from walking (hmph) :(     well better safe than sorry i suppose :)

Hmph BOOORED!
